I have been trying to track the various arguments about pay-walls and open access for information in the news and business press.
I think it is a lot simpler than a lot of media organisations are making out & discuss 3 basic strategies on my blog.

this is helpful. I'm currently developing a series of pilot projects on audience building for some state media as part of a grant, would be interested in your feedback as we develop the "stress tests" for the individual papers.
