This week, FOLIO: did a story about Time Inc.'s Sports Illustrated Group reporting ad page gains for some of its fall issues (http://www.foliomag.com/2009/sports-illustrated-sees-advertising-up...). For instance, ad pages increased 45 percent year-over-year, to 80.3 pages, for its September 7 NFL preview issue.

For SI, the advertising improvement is significant for following a 14.9 percent drop in ad pages through the first half, according to Publishers Information Bureau figures.

How about you? With all the bad news plaguing the magazine industry over the last several months (magazine closures, bankruptcies, mass layoffs, don't make me go on...) we want you to share some positive news.
