Thrasher licenses a French, Japanese, and occasionally a Chinese edition that all produce significant revenue. Costs are very minimal, as we simply burn the issue to disc and send it off with a few copies of the mag every month. Continuity with the brand is my biggest concern...whereas skateboarders in France can generally read and get the US edition of Thrasher fairly easy it has led to some brand confusion as opposed to the Japanese and Chinese editions which seem to not have the same sort of issues...sorry no experience with city-based mags going national tho...
