Hello, I'm Amanda. I'm the Managing Editor & Publisher at Mequoda Daily (a little audience development going on right there). I wouldn't say I'm officially audience development, but since I have a personal attachment with all of the content we produce, I'm naturally our little online evangelist. Online being the keyword. When it comes to in-person networking that's not me. But when it comes to getting you to sign up for our newsletter, buy a product, attend our conference, I'll be your personal Mequoda best friend for life :)

I'm the new audience development marketer for 1to1 Media, a part of the Pepper's and Rogers Group. A b2b magazine franchise all about customer strategy and building brand loyalty. My goal is to engage our magazine readers online and grow web traffic and interaction. We've got a great site, webinars, podcasts, videocasts...I've been here just about a month and this social media thing is something I"m trying to get my arms around. Good morning, and I hope this holiday season finds all of you well ...

I am a seasoned audience development professional and former BPA auditor with 10+ years of media/publishing industry experience, from start-ups to established publications. I possess extensive knowledge of BPA/ABC and postal requirements and circulation fulfillment systems, and have managed critical business operations – including budgeting, enhancing revenue and cutting costs, marketing, circulation statement and audit preparations, vendor relationships and negotiations, partnership building, list acquisition, and staff training.

Presently, I am Audience Development & Advertising Manager for Hospital Pharmacy journal, a widely-respected B2B controlled circ pub with a BPA-audited subscriber base of about 34,000 domestic USA. I am making a strong push for the journal to go digital, at least partially, as well as to establish a presence in Canada in order to exploit new advertising opportunities there.

I have been in the publsihing business for over 25 years working and consulting on niche publications. I also have
worked for a direct marketing agency and teach direct and database marketing at Roosevelt University in their
IMC master's program.

I did marketing for all the business journals in the US for six years.
I launched USPS e_bill Pay.
I have excellent online and e_commerce background.


Publications are: Success Magazine, Auto Week, Business Insurance, The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, Midwest Real Estate News, Alpinist.

I am willing to be a resouce for lists, renewals, direct marketing, partnerships.
