One of the better stories I covered in the last several years was about a dotcom entrepreneur who became obsessed with the idea of reintroducing modern audiences to Winsor McCay's Little Nemo, one of the first and finest comic strips ever illustrated in a daily newspaper. He faced numerous obstacles and was often advised that his goal of faithfully reproducing the strip as it appeared to readers 100 years ago (it filled a 16" X 22" page of the newspaper) was impractical.Tags:
