Congratulations to the winners of the 2009 Charlie Awards Competition!

The Charlie Awards Gala was held on Friday, August 7th at the conclusion of the FMA Publishing Conference and a great time was had by all who attended!

The Gala was the perfect opportunity to celebrate, collectively, the accomplishments of the many publications that placed in the 2009 Charlie Awards Competition and to applaud a job well done. Congratulations winners. You’ve certainly earned it!

Glad to see so much excitement around next weeks conference. I am looking forward to see you all in my session on Friday morning at 10:00am. Its been several years since I have been to the conference. I am very much looking forward to it.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the FMA Conference next week. It looks like we'll have strong attendance, some outstanding vendors and excellent tracks that speak to the challenges we're all facing. ... Let's enjoy this time together and celebrate the hard work and sacrifices that went into overcoming those challenges!

I am a long-time production manager turned print salesperson out of desire for more independence. I am dedicated to the print industry and determined not to become discouraged by all the talk of "digital" killing print. Florida is a wonderful place to live and play and publish! Let's all stand behind our print media and go forth into the shadowy future without fear.
