We run newsletters (with hub and lead gen aspects), edirectories and job boards. Looking at getting into events.

We run directories and we are also involved in e-commerce. Currently building a niche site that combines web 2.0, e-commerce, classifieds, directories, newsletters, news/blogs/forums. Let's hope I can actually manage to put this together.

We are running online magazines, chiefly, using newsletters to market their content (and yield ad revenue). The online magazine aspect contains a number of social network elements -- pretty much required these days. We are considering a strategy involving becoming an internet hub as well.

I would be curious to hear from other online magazine managers out there, and about the different business strategies employed within that business.

Amanda, I really enjoyed the chart. Currently we're running many segmented e-newsletters, an online magazine, and are dabbling in a social network. Next up is a directory. Most of our online success comes from the e-newsletters. We have more of a track record there, so it's no surprise that those are performing well.

Amanda - we sell a marketing consultancy service via our site, Subscription Strategy. Does that fall under 'Event'? And our other site offers an online sales letter wizard that businesses use for creating their marketing copy. Sorry to be difficult ..
