I need help. We publish a successful regional horses magazine but I feel our growth is limited. We have one sales person in house who averages $35,000 month and two other part-time ones. Can anyone give me advice or input on finding and hiring a rep firm? Or independent rep?

Try this link http://www.adinknetwork.com/. If you are looking for a particular type of rep who can reel in national accounts or focus on a particular vertical, try looking at the advertising mastheads of the magazines running the advertising you covet. This should lead you to rep firms specializing in what you desire. Those with contacts have access to media planners/buyers and know how to find regional money for the right vertical audience.
Jim, you may also want to look at this site: www.napronline.org. This is the national organization of publisher reps, might have some useful advice for you.
I'm a 25-year sales veteran in Ohio who can represent your publication(s) in multiple states. I've attached my resume for you to review. Give me a call if you think I might be a good fit.
