With all do respect. Should not the question be, which Social Networking site, has done the best job for magazines? Not, viewing all the sites. I can said that MySpace, does a good job of having many different type of mags, and from all over the world.
I was going for more of which magazine has taken advantage of Social Networking to build traffic to their sites. We're currently using twitter and Facebook for New Jersey Monthly.
Well, look at the site your on NOW. Folio Magazine, has started a myspace, like social networking. In a few week, their will be a magazine chat room> Were you can have real time chats, about the subject, that Folio Magazine, specialize in writing about. Folio has done the best.
I hope you are still checking this site. I'm working on a story about social media marketing for American Journalism Review (December/January issue); www.ajr.org, and my deadline is October 22 2008. I'd like to know your impressions of social media networking/marketing at New Jersey Monthly -- I assume you work there? Please contact me soonest.
Best,
