I am personally attending the O'Reilly Web 2.0 Expo in NY in September. I went last year in San Francisco and it was fantastic.

Actually I just saw that O'Reilly hosts an event on Web 2.0 specifically for publishers. Here is the info:

The 2008 site is still up, but the 2009 one (that I only figured out by editing the hyperlink to the 2008 site) is all garbled and not very branded yet. I'm guessing it's a work in progress since the conference is still so far away.
