I'm an award-winning freelance writer, author, and editorial consultant specializing in women's health (including mind/body), spirituality and consciousness, travel, and lifestyle topics. I write trend stories, service articles, personality profiles, news, and first-person essays. I also do ghostwriting, editing, researching, and book doctoring.

I updated the fifth edition of The Insiders’ Guide to The Great Smoky Mountains (Globe Pequot Press, 2007). In addition, I've contributed to the following travel books: Travelers' Tales Greece (Travelers' Tales, Inc., 2000), Fodor's National Parks and Seashores of the East (Fodor's Travel Publications, 1996), Gutsy Women: Travel Tips and Wisdom for the Road (Travelers' Tales, Inc., 1996), 500 Best USA Vacations: The Ultimate Guide to America's Treasures (Vacation Publications, 1996), See the USA the Easy Way (Reader's Digest Books, 1995) and Travelers' Tales: A Woman's World (Travelers' Tales, Inc., 1995).
I also co-authored Fifty Ways to Find a Lover (Bob Adams, Inc., 1989; second edition, 1991; also published in Brazil, Taiwan and China). The book sold more than 60,000 copies before going out of print a few years ago.
