I just came across your profile in this network. I would like to extend an invitation to join Allvoices.com. It’s a citizen journalist site. We discuss, debate, post news and report news about everything under the sun. Allvoices also has a Very incentive program for writers and they can make money writing. Register here allvoices.com and start contributing.
Hi Katy. I'd love to show you my work, but the King of Folioland doesn't want me leaving picture comments here. If this glaring lack of visuals intrigues you, please pop on over to www.littleshiva.com and have a look. I think you'll like it.
Hi Katy. I wish I could join you in your local chapter of Ed2010. Sounds very interesting. Are you looking to publish your writing on a more national or regional level? There are tons of real estate mags. I suppose those will dwindle down in time as I think of it.
Check my page here - I am collecting information from writers and EDITORS for my new website. I hope to eventually give an avenue where editors and writers can better understand each other. Also a vehicle for editors to reach each other as persons more than as editors. I'm excited to be able to offer this. Perhaps you'd be willing to be interviewed for a "round-up" type piece I do or create a short (250-500 words) piece about something current in the industry.
Let me know - and good luck with your work and dreams.
Hi, Katy. I believe I added you as a "friend." (I'm never sure.) In any event, thanks for the kind words regarding St. Louis Magazine. We're currently starting production on the August "best doctors" issue, traditionally our biggest (at 400-plus pages). I already have a room booked in the nearest ICU.
Group to discuss publishing, writing, editing, managing digital editions and share ideas, strategies, trouble shoot and anything else you can think of.
Commercial Use Limitations: Use of any content features (blogs, forums, messaging, etc) for direct self-promotion, spamming, etc. will result in account termination. Profiles are for individuals only at this time, not companies. Profile headshots should not include company logos. Publishing/Media companies (non vendors) may create groups for their employees. Vendors see this post for more information.
