Are you on Facebook and LinkedIn?

I would like to connect with you there also. I am trying to make more friends and fans so that I can spread awareness for breast cancer during pregnancy. I was diagnosed Stage 3 in the 5th month of my pregnancy in May. My status updates on Facebook and LinkedIn are usually about my fight.

Thanks for the advice. We're still trying to figure out what all we should do to help keep the group members engaged. Thanks again!

I noticed that you've launched several Ning networks and we've recently decided to experiment with using Ning for one of our younger magazines, Grape Anticipation. I was wondering if you had any input, advice or suggestions? Also, we're familiar with traditional means of driving traffic and building membership but I'm also wondering if you may have any other advice on keeping members engaged?

Thanks

Kind of off topic from your pagination software request but "The Ad Portal" reminded me of www.sendmyad.com which is made by the same company who handles all of the North American distribution of Dalim software.

Hi Kimberly,

The Magazine Manager is currently working on a pagination system called The Paginator. This web-based software add-on will only be available for users of The Managzine Manager. This is because insertions and contracts are generated within The Magazine Manager. The production module enables staff to track ads and pull production reports within the software.

With that, we recently launched The Ad Portal, which is a web-based file management solution - linking advertisers, publishers and printers into a single online platform for all of your ad submission needs. Unlike FTP sites, The Ad Portal is specific to the publishing industry. Before a client uploads creative they must choose which Publication, Issue, and Issue Year the creative is tied to. Inspection reports allow advertisers to see the current status of submitted ad materials and confirm when their ads were accepted. Ad material submission errors are eliminated and the submission timeframe is expanded up to deadline. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3. Upload, Manage, and Approve.

I mention The Ad Portal because it goes hand in hand with The Paginator. Since all of you ads will be uploaded in one location (in The Ad Portal) you will then be able to map out all of your ads with the click of a button. You will be able to create folios and place all of your ads and editorial onto a map and it will essentially become a digital flip book. Because all of our software is web-based the sales team will be able to approve their ads from anywhere with internet access and view the map and see where there ads are in the layout process.

The Magazine Manager is a full magazine software package. Our goal is for companies to streamline communication workflow, prevent creation of redundant systems, and duplicate data entry.

...and don't forget to look at The Print Prospector. It's an advertising prospecting and analysis tool which will enable your sales force to identify advertiser spending and estimate your competitors advertising dollars per issue. Great for lead generation as well as ad sales generation.

These products are owned by Mirabel Technologies, an investment group that collectively has more than 100 years of experience in the publishing business. The Magazine Manager ® launched in 2003 and has grown to host more than 2,300 Magazines.

All my best,
Melis
