Marja, do you ever visit the states? I'm wondering how your magazine is doing in light of this worldwide recession. Women's magazines have often been more durable than many other genres, but in general the transition to Web and trying to build audience to leverage advertising has been difficult -- especially in the newspaper industry. What inspirations do you need from women in the U.S. I bet a great story on Michelle Obama would be appropriate at this stage!

Hi Marja - I'm working on my web site's section for editors. I would like to leave them with a couple of links. Any suggestions for associations or magazines that are especially helpful to editors?
Hi Marja - I see that we are friends! Thanks for the note on my page. Wish I would have been able to read the text on Jade. It looked interesting.
In time (and not too much of it) I will be asking a few editors to write a short article or essay as a "guest editor" on my site. I'll keep you posted. If you're interested let me know. I'll keep you posted anyhow :-)
You have a fascinating resume. I may be in contact with you at some point. I am in the process of creating a website to showcase editorial viewpoints as well as to showcase, well, me.
Took a look at the Jade magazine website.
Hope to get to know you better. I live in Ohio, USA.

Hey there...i just wanted to introduce myself to you. Please check out my site. www.alteredimagesphoto.com. I'm a photographer in the l.a. area and I'd love to shoot for your magazine. I hope to hear from you. Greg
thank you very much for your answer, it wasn't late at all. I also had some days off, but unfortunately not for vacation, I had to paint my house instead!
You wrote that you also use external offices for the subscription fulfillment. Our business is to offer subscription fulfillment solutions to publishers and subscription fulfillment bureaus and when we look at the Scandinavian subscription market we see a very high subscription rate comparing to single copy sales. So in the first view a very interesting market for us. Do you feel that the subscription fulfillment bureaus are well equipped when it comes to their subscription software?
I hope you will enjoy the time left of your summer vacation.
we are a Germany based IT company and I would like to know a more about how Scandinavian publishers organize their subscription management. Are there subscription fulfillment bureaus? Do they do the service in-house? Can you help me with this questions?
