I've lived in Wisconsin most of my life. The folks lived in Monmouth Park/Manasquan (sp?) Relatives are still there and around Landing NJ.
My folks settled in New Jersey during WWII. They moved back to beautiful, sunny Wisconsin after my maternal grandmother became ill. They never returned there after her death.
Fell in love with the Cape years ago. My folks used to live in Jersey so as a child we vacationed (for the most part) in the east every year. With real estate prices dropping so drastically a home on the Cape seemed natural. Bought a bank short sale for around 50 cents on a dollar in East Falmouth. Guess that sealed it...
