I'm Looking For:
Friends, Networking, Business Partners, Inspiration
Professional Background: (Resume)
I've been in consumer and trade periodical publishing for 25 years and have extensive experience in both editorial and publishing/ad sales. I’ve been sensitive (but nevertheless sceptical) since 1995 when publishing .net. I now (successfully) publish both print and digital periodicals (that are NOT print replicas).
Regarding the transition to digital I think the US publishing industry is too conservative and is lagging behind Europe where there are many successful digital magazines conceived and published ONLY online. In the US the transition is limited to print replica’s that are not DESIGNED to be online and do not embrace the interactive and multimedia potential.
Personal Interests
Motorcycles, sailing and cooking.
