Involved in facilitating government policy making and appraising projects for funding. A member of the Government of India’s Planning Commission Steering Committee on Voluntary Sector and also member of the Program Advisory Committee of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Received education from Visva-Bharati University at Santiniketan, Tata Institute of Social Sciences at Mumbai, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies of University of Mumbai, Indira Gandhi National Open University, and Johns Hopkins University at USA. Traveled extensively in most part of rural and urban India and abroad.

- Looking for Venture Philanthropists, Angel Donors and Business Partners to set up a “Social Sector B-School” and a chain of “Retirement Homes” in India. The Retirement Home will provide for oldage care and assisted living, The “Social Sector B-School” will provide for entrepreneurial, vocational and livelihood training in the emerging areas of business for rural, tribal and urban youth, particularly the girls, It is proposed to integrate the two projects into a self Sustaining Humanitarian Village.
