We've been paying A$30 per page

Depending on how complicated the page needs to be, I'd say between $75 and $100 per page seems fair.

Richard, you're probably using a mac, and I'm on pc, so it was a challenge to find a workaround. I am calibrating at Luminence of 120 (or close to it), using an Eizo ColorEdge 241W LCD color-correct monitor coupled with X-Rite's Eye One Match 3 calibration device/software, and I calibrate usually 1x/week, though I can get away with skipping a week or two. Since the software reminds me, I go ahead and do it nearly every week, it only takes 10-15 mins. Hope that helps.

Hey Richard, hope everything is going well. I feel like I can't keep up with technology. In February we went from traditional paper proofing and a prepress vendor to full-PDF workflow, NO prepress vendor and soft proofing, and now my web team is redesigning our web site, so I have to figure out how to integrate InDesign layouts with a CMS, using XML output. I'm always behind on technology. Let me know how everything is going with you.
