Tom began with Woodward Communications, Inc. (WCI) in 1986. He was named as Managing Director of Woodward Internet Solutions (WINS) in June 1995, which merged with Get Smart Design Co. to form a full service advertising agency, Mission Creative, in 2003. He was elected to the Board of Directors in 1997. Tom also oversees the B-2-B Magazine Division, WoodwardBizMedia, and in December 2004, was named Vice President-Strategic Planning. With two locations in Dubuque, Iowa and Peoria, Illinois, WoodwardBizMedia publishes several business-to-business trade magazines and websites. The B-2-B operations cater to the material handling, power generation, and metalworking industries. Its titles include Material Handling Network, ShopTalk, and Energy-Tech. Readers and advertisers are located through out the United States, Canada, Mexico, South America, Europe, and Asia. Tom completed a BA in Communications from the University of Iowa and a MBA at the University of Dubuque.
