• Manage all aspects of the editorial process, an editorial and production team of six and a multimillion dollar annual budget for this monthly, 35,000-circulation, sports medicine/pain management magazine for physicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, and other health care practitioners. Manage active Editorial Advisory Board.
• Spearheaded and engineered magazine repositioning within the market, refocusing circulation to include more physician readership, increasing circulation to 35,000 and making the publication more attractive to readership and potential advertisers. Added new pharmaceutical advertisers.
• Created new magazine sections and departments, such as By the Numbers, Pain Management, Women’s Health, and Gait Rehabilitation Technology.
• Led editorial redesign and work with production on the look and layout of each issue.
• Initiated ongoing website redesign and redevelopment.
• Managed budget process: including yearly and quarterly updates. Ran a profitable publication.
• Initiated cross publication sharing of material with other publications, such as the Journal of Musculoskeletal Medicine, Applied Neurology, and Diagnostic Imaging.
