"If you only knew the weight off of my shoulders when we finally came to a conclusion on what my role at Vyne would be... You would even feel a sense of relief..."

Working with a Colleague of mine Hajj Flemings - I have quickly began to see the deeper value of your Personal Brand. I have read and even followed other "Personal Brand Experts" in the past - who chimed in the importance of Personal Branding, however always kept sending the message BACK to the Corporate structure for validation and execution. Hajj Flemings however; continually challenges me to rethink my stance as it pertains to my value proposition - almost as if he is "fine tuning" me to be perfected from the inside out - independent of any corporate structure - NOW THAT'S VALUE. BUT That's not what this post is about, however; I had to mention it because it gives "teeth" to what I am about to cover.

Over the next week or so I am going to write about The Vyne Group, or Vyne - The Mass Conversation Company. Yes it is my company - and in the spirit of transparency - I am going to un-cover who we are as a team and what we do individually to insure that we - Vyne™ are "walking the talk". At Vyne™ we have one core belief that we drive everything from. And this is what we believe...

"We believe that the future of brand interaction will not look like past brand interaction, and we believe that the Consumers participation in the Social Life Cycle of a Brand is imminent."

So with that said, and me being the Leader of this New Agency Thought - I want to share with you, The Reader, Consumer, Brand Champion - our philosophies and strategies as we move courageously towards a new way of looking at Interaction Marketing or what we like to call: Mass Conversation Marketing

SO - why did I start off talking about Personal Branding? Well because on yesterday I allowed my team to clearly articulate to me "who THEY saw me as..." This was, to me, a bold move because I basically allowed someone else give me a role to play and a mission to fill. Scary eh? Well for someone who has called his own shots for over 13 years, let me tell you - IT WAS TERRIFYING - But this is what came out of it all... I was given a role based on what my team felt as my Value to the sum of the whole. NOW THAT WAS ORGANIC!

The Social Technology Strategist: I develop Web Based Social Systems (WBSS) that help Organization and Individual Brands leverage The Art of Mass Conversation to perpetuate their brands value proposition, and to be Active Participants in their brands Social Life Cycle.

How elegant was that? I LOVE IT! And when all the smoke cleared and I read the end result I was totally blown away - because 1. I could never fully articulate WHAT I did in this capacity - in a way others could walk away understanding my mission 2. By allowing others to see what I did and allow them to define it - the definition was organic.

So my Personal Brand - Established, gives me a path to carve out. A space to develop and make rich. I want to thank Hajj Flemings for getting on me about my Personal Brand, and provoking me to stay focused on the discovery process. End result... Vyne is optimized, I am optimized and it all just works!!
