Career update

So my foot is in the door! I have taken the very first step in pursuing my career in publishing--an internship with Palari Publishing in my hometown of Richmond, Virginia (which is perfect...I have to stay near home due to an illness in my family). The internship involves writing for the three magazines that Palari publishes: Urge, Work Magazine, and Sports Backers Quarterly. It all happened very fast--a chance finding of an ad for the internship on Craigslist, completing and submitting my application in only two days, and being offered the internship just days after that. I've even been given my first assignment already for SBQ! Needless to say I am very excited to finally begin my career, even if it is as an intern...unpaid...but I will be rewarded with experience and clips! Once clips are published I will be posting links here for all to read. Wish me luck!
