Where are the best places to look for reliable, highly motivated, part-time, and knowledgeable web ad salespeople? Paula - are you in Baltimore? I think that we know some people in common over at Warschawski (I hope I didn't butcher that). I'm looking for someone as well. My thought has been to advertise the listing on Craigslist in NY, Chicago and LA - which I did a while back. I had no luck with quality in NY or Chicago but found someone I like in LA. Please share with me anything you find. ben @ youngmoney.com. I'm in Hunt Valley.
The other thing I've done which you may want to do is look at networks which will represent your site outside of the ad network. Burst Media and Value Click both offer that service (and I'm sure others).

Hello Paula and Ben,
I am also looking for an ad sales rep to work for my company. I just launched my new web site and have decided to pass on TV , DVD and PPV to go after the boundless internet market. I am looking for someone to sell off the real estate on my site. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Haven't had to look for a web ad sales person yet...but I had a great response for my sales account executives by sending out an email to my sphere of influence. I was amazed that I actually found two sales people - both fans of the publication. Yet when I ran ads in other mediums I got no response.
