The more work I have been doing with webstes the more I notice success in advertising layering.
For example: Main site ads / Channel & Category Ads / Rss Ads / Buyers Guide Ads / Primary newsletter ads / Channel newsletter ads / Automated category specific alert email ads.
How are you:
1. Initially structuring your site to include these items
A. Sites / Channels - Any specific number, and what's important in a channel, how closely to you tie your channels together...
B. Global Taxonomy - Shared libraries to relate content through the process above.
C. Leading users to these areas to build value
2. Implementing this in your advertising group.
3. Monitoring success
4. List Rentals - Are you giving carte blanche, or are you providing value by being able to identify which people are actually 'interested' in that advertisers info by the action of actually looking at it on the web.
Let's pick brains and find some good tactics.
