Cover Critique: Radar's Redesign

We run cover design critiques on foliomag.com on occasion. We ask designers to weigh in on a new or interesting cover. Attached is the latest cover up for critique.
BACKGROUND: Radar—the magazine that refuses to die—is set to unveil an extensive redesign with its July/August issue, one that features Pamela Anderson, shot by celebrity photographer and American Apparel shooter Terry Richardson, on its cover.
