I am a 22 year-old journalism major at Texas A&M University-Commerce. I have been a member of The East Texan, A&M-Commerce's award-winning student-led newspaper for four years.
I am a small business owner of emjaye COMMUNICATIONS, a full-service creative communications agency, and in February 2008, I founded JAYE magazine, a monthly women’s fashion magazine that focuses primarily on college women across the country and the issues they encounter outside of the academic environment. The magazine also provides the reader fashion, beauty, health & entertainment information in each issue, where I serve as the editor-in-chief.
I am a two-time participant in the ExxonMobil Community Summer Jobs Program and a recipient of the 2008 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Student of the Year and 24 Most Influential African-Americans on behalf of Hopkins County, Texas.

Michael, I must say you show marvelous potential. Your personal website with its many separate pages is first rate, and JAYE magazine is an excellent example of your editorial scope and imagination. I'd be delighted if you would include me as one of your "friends" on this website. You can check out "my page" to see who I am. ALSO I would like to see other issues of JAYE.
