I began freelance writing for local magazines in the Raleigh-Durham region of NC in 1997. I became editor-in-chief of two local lifestyle magazines here between 1999 and 2004, then returned to freelance writing and editing last year (2007). I launched Triangle TRACKS because I realized the region lacked a website devoted to consolidating all of the local resources for children here. There are tons! TRACKS is an acronym for "Tools, Resources & Activities for Carolina Kids." Check it out at www.triangletracks.com.
